About Gene Hamilton

Besides doing caricatures of pets and their owners, Gene also draws people by themselves. Gene accepts commissions for birthday gifts, retirement gifts, going away presents and mementos of other special occasions.

Besides doing individual commissions, Gene also does caricatures at events. He is available for corporate events, association meetings, private parties, and post proms. See his Quickdraw Cartoons website for more information about these services.

In addition to drawing caricatures, he also teaches cartooning at schools and other organizations, as well as other educational workshops and programs. He has worked as a humorous illustrator designing for publications and apparel.

Gene has another website devoted to his fine art. The site, Gene and Carlie Hamilton: Two Fine Artists, is devoted to the beautiful prints, paintings, and sculpture that he and his wife, Carlie (illustrator at Garden Gate Magazine) have done.

Gene's Other Talents

If caricatures, cartooning, and fine art weren't enough, Gene Hamilton is also an actor. He's appeared in many television ads, training films, and short films. His most notable role was as Jack Nicholson's photo double in the movie About Schmidt where he doubled in scenes involving driving cars and RVs. (See Gene's Internet Movie Database listing.) Because of this notoriety, Gene is now in demand for company and private parties as a Jack Nicholson impersonator.
